Russell has been in the HVAC controls and automation industry for over 25 years, working with many of the leading UK controls businesses throughout his career. He carries knowledge, experience, training and accreditation in many of the former and current market-leading OEM equipment providers, including; Siemens, Satchwell, Trend, Landis & Staefa, Cylon and Priva. Having worked for the great and the good of the industry, Russell decided to take a different direction and created Complete Energy Controls Limited, with the specific intention of doing a better job for the customer. Over the last 3-years, Russell has grown CEC into a highly capable, credible business, delivering first class solutions to a wide range of clients.

Paul Anderson

Like a number of the CEC team, Paul has a long and successful career in the building controls industry that started with Staefa, now Siemens, where he enjoyed a number of different roles from Engineer to Project Manager and Regional Operations Manager. Another of the original team of Matrix (now E.ON Control Solutions), Paul was engaged with and responsible for a number of the business’s strategic developments centred around the evolution of national accounts and energy solutions. Paul was instrumental in changing the effectiveness of the mobile engineering solutions, driving a far greater focus on site energy optimisation, use of technology to manage resources, adoption of the national accounts mindset, operational delivery approach and many other innovations.

David has developed and established some of the most impressive and large-scale remote management centres in the UK and Europe. Centres that deliver remote energy and operational management of vast customer estates through connectivity, automated processes, data integration and technical expertise centred on building controls. Over the years he, together with the technical support teams he built and developed have managed in excess of 10,000 connected customer locations for a wealth of customers including; TESCO, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Boots, BT, Dixons Retail, TK Maxx, Whitbread, Lloyds Banking Group, Nuffield Health and David Lloyd to name but a few. David’s focus is on delivering the best customer solutions available in the UK market through his unique understanding of multi-site customer needs and a team of technical experts. Taking best practice and then building ever more functionality, automation and data integration to ensure that CEC remains at the forefront of the remote customer solutions sector.

Jim Rankin

Jim has a wealth of industry experience from starting his career in building controls at Satchwell, then migrating into Siemens Building Technologies (formerly the Staefa brand). After his time in Siemens, Jim joined the team at Matrix Control Solutions as one of the original team and a senior manager, specialising in system design, project management and technical system commissioning. Following the sale of Matrix to the Germany utility giant, E.ON, Jim decided to become an independent technical consultant to a number of businesses in the controls industry, before joining up with Russell Stuart and the CEC brand. Jim now leads the technical design and delivery functions of the company’s Projects Division, where he is seeing more and more customer traction and a clear drive for customers to select controls partners that they can rely on to deliver.
